Hi riders! Rough Terrain HAZARD! B Trail between the 59 and Madawaska where the grader was trying to get through a swampy area of the old railbed. Keep your eyes out for volunteers. We are getting ready to transition trails from ATV to snowmobile and so work teams from both sides may be on the trails to finish projects or get ready for the colder weather. We greatly appreciate the partnership between RCATV and the Snow Country Snowmobile Region - OFSC District 6 Stephen Hebb for the win getting it out of the swamp unscathed.

RCATV wishes to take a moment to thank and remember those who have served and continue to serve. We know it is a beautiful warm fall day, thank you for respecting their service and taking a moment to reflect and remember.

On behalf of Sharon Mcleod the new Director for the Pakkotinna Trail System in Golden Lake thanks everyone for coming out to support with signs and doing a trail orientation. Too bad we didn’t get pictures of the winching, broken boot and punctured tire rim. Oh and some signing lol.

UPDATE: OPP East Region @OPP_ER 2h Missing 16 yr old from #Tweed has tragically died from injuries suffered in ATV collision. Civilians joined #OPP in search. Civilians located the victim @ 2:30am along old rail bed. Later pronounced deceased @ hospital. Thanks to all who assisted. @OPP_COMM_ER ^bd... Please do not ride alone, take a friend. Or if you have to ride alone make sure someone knows what route you are taking.
