Since 2015, Residence Life has recognized the longstanding contributions and dedication of our graduating student leaders with the Pillar Recognition Award. This honor is given to leaders who have dedicated at least three years of service/leadership to the community. This year, we developed an image to commemorate the 80+ leaders who have been recognized with the Pillar Recognition Award since 2015. The names are placed symbolically to recognize and differentiate years of ser...vice. The red columns have the names of leaders who have shown 3 years of service. The foundation of the image features the names of leaders with 4years of service. Resting on top of the pillars are the names of the leaders who have given 5 years of service. And finally, the leaders recognized at the very top of the image have given 6 or more years of service, with Ian Smith, Jayne Veinotte, Linda and Dale O'Brien being as recognized as the longest-serving leaders of this group, each with 8 years of service.
