Who doesn’t love a scrappy quilt? I chose a simple design for my client, which shows really well on a plain backing! It’s become one of my favourites!
Started this one January 1st, vowing it would be done in time to have on my sofa at Christmas . And here it is! Lime green thread and a loopy Christmas tree were the perfect choices to enhance, but not overshadow ,the embroidery on this one! Enjoying the process of hand sewing the binding down.
A classic log cabin pattern came off the frame last week! My client is donating this one to Quilts of Valour, a very worthy cause!
A group of baby quilts I finished this week for a client, all destined for donating to charities!A splash pattern on four that have bubbles and waves in the fabric, pretty flowers on the pink butterflies, and a little monkey business to finish them off!
Here are two fabulous memory quilts. My client put these together from her mother’s dresses! What better way to remember a loved one than wrapping up in one of these cozy quilts!
This stunning quilt was a joy to work on. A simple flame design in blue variegated thread mimics the hand appliqué moonbeam medallion. A gift made with much love!
