#TuesdayTennisTips : Even though you cannot make a full swing, you can focus on your contact point, which is an important element in hitting a tennis ball. By contacting the ball properly, you can maximize your control. It is always good to have a target to maintain your control or to regain it if the ball goes too far away.

The TDC Cup U10 Champions was our very own RCC Team! The kids performed exceptionally well, displayed super team work and sportsmanship. We are very proud of Alden, Nathan, Amy, and Rachel who were coached by Helen!! It was a great day of tennis!!

Provided by Tony Aronson, in memory of his father, the Mayer Aronson Sportsmanship Trophy will be awarded annually to the athlete who exemplifies fair play, respect, determination and hard work during the RCC Junior Tennis Championships. Tournament Dates: November 8th-11th, 2019. Entry deadline: Monday, October 21st, 2019. (Tomorrow)... Our goal is to provide extra match practice for RCC athletes, an opportunity to work on weaknesses and competitive skills in a true environment and prepare for the upcoming Tennis BC National Selection Events. In addition to tournament shirts for all participants trophies will be awarded to winners and finalists.

Congratulations to Stewart Aronson who won his second Canadian Junior Nationals Title! His latest championship title was earned at the 2019 Under 14 Rogers Outdoor Junior Nationals in Laval, Quebec, without dropping a set. Stewart also was a U14 Doubles Finalist partnering with Aleksandar Mitric. Well done Stewart!
