The Riversdale Business Improvement District (RBID) is seeking an Administrative & Communications Assistant who is able to support the continued revitalization of the Riversdale business area of Saskatoon. Riversdale is experiencing an unprecedented revitalization with new businesses opening their doors all the time, housing develop...ments rising up and so much more going on. As the Administrative & Communications Assistant you will have the opportunity to be part of something great. As the main point of contact for the office, your role will support the Executive Director, local business owners, district landlords, and key officials in city administration. Your professional decorum, poised personality, and autonomous work ethic will ensure success in this part-time (25 hours per week) position. Reliable and independent work habits Social Media and website content contributions The administration of internal and external communication strategies through current systems and processes Management of all inquiries to the Riversdale BID during work hours (phone, email, social media, etc). Meeting prep and follow up (create and distribute agendas, type and distribute minutes) Master calendar coordination and administration Administer the process of some community-business initiatives (flower pot program, Clean & Safe program) Your comfort in a business environment, outgoing and supportive personality, and reliable work habits will enhance the Riversdale BID in all revitalization efforts. Applicants who display previous experiences in AP/AR, small business communications practices, and success in an administrative capacity are preferred.
