It is a refreshment of my post about the protocols and guideline that I posted for reopening in June last year. This is my suggestion to do more for precautions and keep you feel safe.

Ontario Declares 2nd Provincial Emergency ------------------------------------------- Today, the Ontario Government declared a second provincial emergency, issued a stay-at-home order and introduced enhanced enforcement measures. Effective Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., the government is issuing a stay-at-home order requiring everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care serv...ices, for exercise or for essential work. No further restrictions on accessing heath care services, like RMT and Acupuncture services. I will continue to follow all the strict guidelines and protocols for the prevention of spreading during 2nd Lockdown to make sure you are safe to receive treatments. I am here for you. Whenever you need treatments please call or text me to schedule bookings.

TMJ disorder/dysfunction -------------------------- Bruxism - grinding, clenching or gnashing of the teeth as a reaction to stress or anxiety, but the habit often lasts through life's calmer periods - and it can wreak havoc on the body. TMJ disorder can cause cervical muscles tensed up, get tension headaches/migraines easily and even more (refer to the chart. Most common TMJ dysfunction is narrowing to open and close the mouth and jaw pain. Jaw pain and tight jaw are due to... trigger points accumulation in the area and limit TMJ dysfunction can be treated by intraoral massage for trigger points release, opening the joint and stretching the tight muscles. It is a little painful but it works quite effectively to restore TMJ healthy functioning. To give client a bit of comfort, I create a technique to do intraoral and diverting the pain at the same time so they feel lesser pain. Do you have TMJ syndromes?

IF THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE THINKING AND STOPPING YOU COMING FOR TREATMENTS, I WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT I DO TO KEEP YOU SAFE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. ------------------------------------------------------------- Is it Safe to Get a Massage Right Now? Experts Weigh In on the Risk During COVID-19. In a massage setting, the biggest risk you're taking is being in close contact with another person. That's because COVID-19 is mainly thought to spread between people who are within six feet o...f each other through respiratory droplets created when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, the CDC says. Those droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people nearby, or possibly be inhaled into their lungs. There is some evidence that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, may be airborne in certain situations, the World Health Organization (WHO) says. Past that, there may also be some risk in coming into contact with frequently-touched surfaces (like a massage table), since COVID-19 may also be spread by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. (The CDC, however, says this is not thought to be the main way the virus is transmitted). ------------------------------------------------------------- We aware of all the possibility of spreading COVID-19 before reopening. Our College and Ontario Health Department have prepared us to minimize the chance to get infected and spreading. We follow all the guidelines and precautions. I have also sent out the protocols of my clinic before reopening as well as posting on FB in mid-June 2020. I would like you to know we take the precautions seriously: Pre-screening before booking Temperature check before entering the clinic Clients need to do COVID-19 rescreening before treatment starts I wear the FULL PPE (facial mask, facial shield, reusable gowns with gloves and w/o gloves during performing treatments Low traffic in my home clinic, only take 1 patient at the time. All linens whatever have used, everything on the massage table and my reusable gown must be changed and washed well in between clients. Clients require to wear facial mask once they enter the clinic and hand sanitizer is provided. All personal belongings will hang onto the clothing rack Disinfect the working area, client clothing rack and massage table as well as the floor in between client. (Lot of cleaning) Antiviral and antibacterial, Winter Green essential oil blend (for Cold and Flu) will be used with diffuser during the treatment. Air purified is using in the home clinic. Minimize the use of washroom as much as possible unless it is necessary. I want to make sure to keep my client, myself and my family safe. I pay extra attention and extra precautions to lower the chance to get infected and spreading of COVID-19 as much as possible. My job is to keep you safe. I take it seriously.

Reopening Stage 3 from COVID-19 shut down, I hope you and your family are finally enjoying the good weather and able to do something fun. Getting more natural vitamin D from the sunlight and being active that will be very beneficial to stress and depression which you may have suffered throughout the shutting down period. Just a little reminder, you may have NOT USED your health benefits for the year. It is AUGUST now. You only have left 4-5 months to use your health benef...it for this year. As the weather is getting better and with Stage 3 reopening now, I HOPE YOU ARE MORE COMFORTABLE TO MOVE FORWARD TO COME FOR TREATMENT. You may not know what might happen after kids are going back to school as well as when the weather is getting colder and hitting the flu season. You may or may not able to come for treatment. Then your whole year health benefit will be wasted. See more
