As some of you may know my wife has been raising money for Rexall's OneWalk to Conquer Cancer. She would like to share this message with all the donors: we have one day left until the OneWalk to Conquer Cancer (Saturday September 8, 2018)! Yes I am nervous but extremely excited. To all my friends, family and acquaintances whether you have won the fight against cancer or you are currently fighting...this one is for you. A special dedication goes out to my immediate family me...mbers who have courageously fought cancer and most importantly my sister Kathleen who overcame cancer and is currently fighting Lou Gehrig Disease (ALS ). Myself and my family would like to thank each and every- one of you who has donated and supported my cause to conquer cancer. Princess Margaret Hospital, thank you to all the medical professionals who dedicate their lives towards finding a cure and your information sessions and wonderful tour. I am grateful for the opportunity to be educated and participate. To my Rexall family thank you for your continued support, words of encouragement, and faith in my ability to do this walk and choosing an amazing cause. The team for OneWalk thank you for your inspiration and dedication to making this event possible. Most importantly a special thank you goes out to my husband Robertson Perry and my family for their support. All of you wonderful people who helped support me and my colleagues at work (doctors, business professionals, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and Rob’s Best Foot Forward customers, no matter who you are I would like to personally thank you for your amazing contribution that has allowed me to exceed my goal. I could not have accomplished such an achievement without each of you. Today we are $1,727 closer towards the cure for cancer. My goal was $1,500 and each contribution made it possible to surpass my target. Despite various hurdles and circumstances beyond my control that made it difficult to train and prepare for my 25K walk, I promise to make each of you proud and hope with the help of the lord, to make it to the finishing line.
