Another slight extension from CRA - payment deadlines extended to September 30, 2020

CEBA $40,000 revised eligability is now live. Applications should be available on Friday. For those without the $20,000 minimum Payroll(current eligabiljty requirement) it is a 2 step approval process. First step apply through your financial institution and 2nd by providing proof of your $40,000 non-deferrable expense. Take a peek through here to see more info ... https://ceba-cuec.ca/

The new Eligabiltiy for the $40,000 CEBA loan will be updated this Friday! Some Information on the Commerical Rent Relief program being put together. Per this it is hopefully avail mid-end of May and will be for April/May/June rent providing the business is closed or has a 70% drop in revenues and is paying less that $50,000 per month in rent. If you already applied for EI your claim will automatically be switched to CERB.

CRA My Account Online or Service Canada Online Account WILL BE NEEDED in order to easily access any of these government benefits that are being released. We are awaiting the specifics for the CERB benefit which should be announced early this week. Once we know more we will let you know

If your a business owner who needs to do ROE’s and You DO NOT have an online account DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT register for one now. Reach out to an accountant or bookkeeper who has ROE web for their business as we can access your account immediately as long as no one else is set up. If you do it, you will be waiting potentially weeks for your access code in the mail to complete your registration. ... IF you have already taken this step, I still recommend reaching out as we should be able to switch the access to us likely quicker than the code getting to you!
