Well, gang, here’s some big news for Rocket! After 10 years headquartered at 272 Water Street, Rocket Bakery & Fresh Food is making a change and heading down t...he street to new digs at 294 Water Street (the former Canary Cycles)! We had hoped to ride out the pandemic at our current location but, given the state of the hospitality industry worldwide and the impact on us, we’ve decided to move to a more manageable facility. Rocket's new location in downtown St. John’s, one block from the old location, is a wonderful space that’s able to accommodate the community a part of our business model that's very important to Mark, Dave and me. We know that we'll be able to gather again once the pandemic has passed and, while a smaller footprint, the new space will accommodate eat-in customers, our weekly kitchen party (someday) and more! That includes Rocket's production team who will be able to bake and cook in the new, more efficient environment. There may be a short gap of time that we’ll be closed on Water Street while our new location and production facility is being set up but our other two locations at Baby Rocket in Churchill Square and Rocket Mt. Pearl at 46 Bannister Street will continue serving Rocket Food throughout the "renovation months. We hope that you'll continue to support us at these two locations while we take the leap and that you’ll bear with us as we go through this transition! Rocket at 272 Water Street will be open for the next three weeks, so come on down and visit us while we’re here. Our first 10 years in downtown St. John's has been a real adventure.
