Friday rituals. See you tonight

It’s supposed to be real chilly this weekend- we’ll try to bring the sunshine at least. We’ll have our classic lemon tarts as a walk-in special this Saturday & Sunday while supplies last. @roselle_to

The OG...for two We’ve taken two layers of roasted almond chocolate dacquoise, filled it with a dark chocolate ganache, bright raspberry caramel center, dipped in a chocolate shell and adorned each with a tempered white chocolate heart. They’ll be packaged in a cute box and all, so you can easily stick it in someone’s mailbox. A modern day love letter.... Share it with someone or enjoy it over many, many bites. Last night was kind of crazy. We were flooded with DMs and emails with everyone telling us that the pre-ordering page wasn’t loading. After a frantic 10 minutes that felt like an hour, luckily @michaelgozum.photo helped us get back online. We sold out over 100 tins in 17 minutes. ... We thank you for your insane support and patience with our website hiccup last night. Online ordering has it’s advantages, but it also comes with it’s share of glitches. Thank you for always being so kind to us!!! We do have some news for everyone who missed out- we are doing a restock. Our supplier was able to get us more tins in time for February. It won’t be a big restock (we can only make so much), but hopefully enough so that those who missed out last night can still get one. We have NEW hours! We appreciate everyone bearing with us as always. In our efforts to make it a little easier for you to get to us, we present to you three consecutive days of pastry enjoyment time and wait for it..the *same* hours for Saturday & Sunday. We've moved our Tuesday hours to Friday (it helps us better manage our week, production wise), so unfortunately we will *NOT* be open tonight.... Please read the slides in this post carefully, hopefully your questions will be answered. Though our softserve has retired for the year, for Fridays we'll have walk-in specials (think millefeuille ;)) as well as special cups not on our pre-order menu. Pre-orders for Saturday pick-up are currently live on our website until tomorrow 8pm, where it resets for Sunday pick-up, as always. Roselle Pumpkin Chiffon Cake It’s like eating a fluffy pumpkin cloud, lightly spiced and glazed with a pumpkin icing and sprinkled with candied pumpkin seeds. If you’re into that kinda thing We have good and bad news regarding the whole version of this cake.... Good news: We’ll be offering it as part of the pre-order menu for this weekend. Not-so-good-news: There will only be a limited amount available for pick-up both Saturday & Sunday. Why? Well, we’re still a very small team and have our work cut out for us this week. We would love to make more but it simply won’t be possible. That being said, we have some fun Thanksgiving-y cups available plus some other cakes if you can’t get your hands on the pumpkin. Ontario black walnut carrot cake cups Frankly, we made these entirely by accident. Added the black ‘nuts instead of the regular ones, but the end result was surprisingly delicious. Black walnuts have a nice funk to them that plays off nicely with the carrots, cream cheese mousse and candied pecans on top....
