Harvest Time at Rossignol Winery. Harvesting, De-stemming, Crushed Grapes, Leftover Stems. What an amazing process! :)

After the apples are harvested and crushed, the next step is the pressing, which turns them into juice, which when fermented eventually turns into wine. The mash left over goes to compost. Wonderful helpers at Rossignol Winery! :)

It's a busy weekend at Rossignol Winery We had such a great yield of apples this year that we can't use them all, so we are offering a free "pick your own" bag of apples with each wine purchase. Please bring your own shopping bag. :) We will also be harvesting and de-stemming our grapes! Open Sunday 11 - 5.

Right after the apples are harvested, they go to the crusher. It was a bumper crop this year and we got a few tanks filled! Next they will be pressed and eventually become our luscious Iced Liberty Blossom Apple Wine.. Stay tuned for more pics. :)

Such a nice visit from Mustang Club PEI. yesterday! It was nice to see the cars in the parking lot, and hear the beautiful rumble as they drove in.... Awesome Social distancing in effect - taking turns in small groups inside, and Buddy and Oreo were keeping the outside groups entertained. :)

And....our apple harvesting has begun at Rossignol Winery. What a glorious time to spend in the orchard - the view and peacefulness are incredible. We are open Saturday and Sunday 11 - 5 if you want to check out the vineyards or pop into the Winery for some amazing wines. :) (Note: the apples are not for sale or self picking - we use them in our Iced Liberty Apple Wine).
