Over the last several months the project committee has had their feet on the ground, gaining an understanding as to how the Rotary Club could provide support to Portapique. After much consultation with residents through focus groups, community meetings, and one on one conversations, it was decided that a revitalization of the Community Hall would help build a positive, forward looking sense of community in Portapique. To that end, The Rotary Club of Truro has launched the Por...tapique Community Build Up campaign with a goal of $500,000. Opportunities are available for cash and/or in kind gifts.
