Royal Alberta Museum 11.12.2020

Effective December 13, 2020, the Royal Alberta Museum will be temporarily closed as part of Alberta’s stronger health measures. The stronger health measures come into effect province wide at 12:01 am on December 13. Part of these measures include the temporary closure of museums, libraries, and galleries. These measures will be in place for a minimum of four weeks. The safety and protection of our patrons and staff are our top priority. Please watch our website for future up...dates regarding our facility. For information on ticket refunds, please contact [email protected] All active Mammoth Pass expiry dates will be extended. The Museum Shop will continue to offer shipping and curbside pickup for purchases made through the online Shop. We thank everyone who has visited us safely these last few months. RAM re-opens Saturday, May 16. Capacity is limited. Timed entry only. As we welcome you back to the museum, we ask you to work together with us to keep RAM a safe space for yourself, for all visitors and for our staff. We’ve made a number of important changes to ensure the safety of everyone in the museum. Full details are available on our website at royalalbertamuseum.ca/covid19. ... - To enter the museum, including the Museum Shop, visitors must purchase a timed entry ticket online, prior to arrival at the museum. - If you arrive without a timed entry ticket, you will only be admitted if space is available, or you will need to purchase an online ticket for a future time slot using your mobile device. - This applies to all visitors, including Mammoth Pass holders and visitors who qualify for free admission. - Museum capacity is limited to 100 visitors at one time. - The Children’s Gallery, Museum Café, and second floor by the Theatre are closed, and all hands-on interactives and activities are closed or removed. - Visitors must enter through the west doors (99 street) - Please practice physical distancing throughout your visit, and explore the galleries by following the marked one-way route. - Please bring your own strollers and wheelchairs as these will not be available onsite. - Hours are 10 am 4 pm Wednesday Sunday, and open holidays. Last admission at 3 pm. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays, with the exception of holidays. We are open Monday, May 18. Our goal is to make your visit to the Royal Alberta Museum comfortable and safe. We hope you will enjoy being back at RAM and connecting with remarkable Alberta stories.
