We're thrilled to announce that Essilor Canada has agreed to match our Family Holiday Hampers donations! For every complete pair of glasses sold between November 16th and December 16th, we are donating a portion of sales towards Holiday Hampers containing food and gifts for families over the holiday season. We're well on our way to donating 60 Holiday Hampers to some wonderful families this holiday season.

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to our community of patients and clients that keep our business thriving. It's because of you all that we get to do what we love every day. Dear family and friends of Royal Oak Optometry, We are so happy to welcome you back to the office! As of Tuesday May 19th, we will be open for all routine eye examinations, contact lens assessment, minor appointments and ocular emergencies. We might look a little different when you walk in the door but rest assured, we are still here for all your needs. For everyone's health and safety we have installed interior plexiglass shields on every counter, desk and point of potentia...l interaction with the staff. In addition, there are plastic guards in front of equipment in the examination rooms and if a team member has to get close to you for very precise measurements a face shield is available for them. In order to comply with physical distancing protocols, we have slowed down our patient flow and will limit how many patients are in the office at one time. In order to compensate for this reduction, we are happy to extend our office hours to increase availability of appointment times. Now, we are taking measures to ensure the safety for everyone in our community and respectfully we will ask a few things from you as well: please come in alone unless you are accompanying a child, wear your own mask, clean/sanitize your hands upon arrival at the office and kindly leave all unnecessary belongings in the car or at home. If you are having some vision concerns but are feeling unwell, have a cough, cold, fever or flu we please ask that you stay at home. Fortunately, we can still help! Although we cannot see you in person, we are offering telehealth consults during these extended hours. We have been doing them successfully for the past 2 months so we hope to continue to offer this convenient, safe alternative. We are very much looking forward to serving your family in a safe, efficient and respectful manner. Stay well - Now let's get back to work!
