We think most of us would agree that this summer has been complicated. This weekend we officially opened our highly anticipated Roywoods @shopsquareone location. To the many of you who came to pay us a visit this weekend we can’t thank you enough! Since 2016 we’ve been committed to not only feeding, but supporting the black community on a daily basis. From our constant promotion of local black talent, to moments like our $5,000 giveaway to support underprivileged students with their tuition. we’ve strived to lead by example in the efforts to create a change in how the black community is viewed and the opportunities that exist for us. We know it’s been a long and hard month and a half of quarantine. We know the urge to break social distancing rules are at all time high, but WE’VE GOT THIS! And in solidarity with all of you remaining strong during these trying times we decided to have a fun little contest this weekend! The rules are simple. 1. Like this post and follow us 2. Yesterday we prepared 60 dinners for the doctors and nurses of St. Michael’s Hospital. We hope this act of kindness helps inspire others to do the same. We chose St. Michael’s but you can choose a grocery store, a family member, a friend or an elderly neighbour. Let’s us fortunate ones remember we have the power to positively influence the lives of those less fortunate whether it be with a donation, a meal or even a phone call. Toronto is an special place filled with many charitable people so let’s work together everyone If you’re interested in donating a dinner to a person or a company or even if you’re interested in donating to St. Michael’s Hospital yourself- shoot us a dm! #allinchallenge @ Roywoods

With just over a week passing in isolation we realize how important it is for all of us to keep our spirits high and have fun. In support of this, Roywoods has decided to throw a contest! For the next week we want to see how all of you are keeping busy and having fun while you practice social distancing.
