Lots of fall colors around the farm this week. We are starting to prepare for winter by putting away all signage and bush hogging all the trails so we can be ready to groom for sleighing this year.

Please pre-register so that I know how many of each group we are going to have, especially youth and riders. You can just let me know on this post if you like or through pm. If you are coming for more than just the afternoon on Saturday Sept 19th let me know that also. I still have some stalls available for overnight camping.

I love my job on days like this. Happy and relaxed pony just walking along.

Sept 19 ECHO. I am also thinking that I will plan some fun games like I did at the open house last month. I will set up a cones course and score it the same way. It was a lot of fun for all ability levels.

ECHO Sept 19th This will be the last event of the season here at Ridge Rock Ranch. After this all the signage will come down for the winter. It will be the last chance to get out on the trails while they are still marked. This event is open to riders, ground drivers and drivers of all levels and ages. The cost is $25 for the 3 classes and the use of the facility for the day. I require that you pre-register before the event. There will be rough camping allowed for the weekend to all ship-ins. Stalls are available on a limited basis ($25/day, $50/fri-Sun) Camping ($25/weekend). Ribbons will be given to 3rd place for all classes. The newest tree to join the family at RRR.

Just picked up the grass seed from the feed store and I am all set to reseed the newly leveled dressage ring. With all this rain coming it should have a good start to the growing before the snow flies this year. With that being said the dressage ring is off limits for the rest of the year.

The dressage ring has been pulled to work the ground more. The grass was seed drilled and is not leveling out and only getting rougher so out it comes. I will be working on it the rest of this year in hopes that it will be better next show season.

This is the last event we have planned this year. Should be a fun one!

We are off to a great start to the day again today. We have the poker run and more games on the way. This is the new cones course for today.
