Growing in Christ You have planted your seed of Faith and now is the time to grow in Christ and reap the rewards of your faith. 2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." How do we grow in Christ? ... G - GERMINATE your seed. In order for seed to germinate it needs light and water. Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12) and He is the source of living water (John 4:14). R - REMOVE any weed to allow the plant to grow. So must we empty ourselves of anything that is not of God. (Romans 6:1-23) O - OFFER your plant some nutrients to build it up and strengthen it. So must we fast and pray to strengthen our faith. (Matthew 17:20-22) W - WAIT for the plant to grow. Learn to wait on God, He will get you to where you need to be. (Lamentations 3 :25-26) Let us start growing. Stay blessed xxxx
