We have been getting asked a lot of questions about how we are adapting to the new government implemented restrictions. Here are some things we are doing to help families during an already difficult time. We are offering funeral arrangements over zoom for families who are more comfortable making arrangements out of the comfort of their own home. For families that do come in for funeral arrangements in person, our arrangement offices are thoroughly sanitized in-between meeti...ngs. We are offering the complimentary use of our concierge service for picking up items from families, including pictures, clothes, important documents etc. For out of town families who have chosen cremation as the disposition, we are offering shipping of cremated remains across the province. Zoom (or video recorded) funerals have become popular as it allows people near and far to view the funeral/ graveside service as our attendance is limited to 10 people at this current time for an in person service. Many families are currently holding a private service for immediate family members, with hopes of being able to do a celebration of life at a later date when the Province allows us to do so.
