A core group of dedicated people is taking on some really important work to help better the lives of those in need of prosthetic treatment across Canada. Prohibitively high government deductibles and frustratingly complex and inadequate private insurance plans are in some cases forcing people to chose between clinically appropriate (not ‘basic functionality’) treatment and putting food on their family’s table.
