I seem to always been drawn to feathers (which seems to be odd as I have an intense fear of birds... ) But feathers symbolize much more than birds, such as signs of hope and spiritual growth !Creating these feather pieces bring me so much satisfaction. They are time consuming and tricky to perfect. While making this piece I became extremely irritated because I couldn’t get the feathers to match perfectly with each other, I had to take a step back and really adjust my th...inking. Each feather is different in this piece, just as in real life each feather is unique. Perfection is not the goal, as perfection does not equal beauty. After a relaxing few days filled with fishing, hiking & sight seeing, I’m back to splitting my time between my full time job, this little side business, seeing my horse, spending time with loved ones and finding a silver of time for myself (Busy?
