Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, warmth, and yummy food on this distinctly different 2020 celebration. I am filled with gratitude for a healthy family, friends who are adapting to the new rules for socializing while apart, and all the ways we have trusted and treated each other with respect and regard for our whole civilizations’s well being - physically, mentally, and spiritually.
I’m not sure why my office is such a target for break ins - 4th one since March. If anyone recognizes this person please contact police. And please share.

PSA: if you have an iPhone check the following... Open settings Tap on your name at the very top Click on subscriptions... This is where you’ll find all the things your credit card is getting billed for every week, month, year through automatic renewals. People often sign up for free trials and without realizing the fine print has it roll over to a paid service that keeps billing your icloud account. I’ve been caught several times... just today found an app that was billing me 7.99 per WEEK, for an app I haven’t used in at least 5 months... <
Check out this talented youth!
As we brace for impact for Wave 2, consider joining me in downloading the Canada COVID Alert App. Trust me, I’m not fan of big brother knowing our business, nor am I a conspiracy theorist. I read a little before downloading, and I encourage you to do the same. It does NOT have GPS tracking, does not record your name or any personal information. Simply allows people who have the app to share their positive test results, and provide anyone in contact to get an Alert.... I can’t justify not using the app, with the technology available, the situation we’re in, and the potential down sides... https://www.canada.ca//coronavirus-diseas/covid-alert.html
Public Service Announcement: a) nodding head - means agreement *(as in, yes that’s true) b) shaking head - means disagreement *(as in, no that’s not true)... Folks, when you’re writing to describe a person’s reaction - try to get these right. Also, while we’re at it: a) a couple - means two b) a few - means three for me. Some say from 3 up to 5 c) a bunch - means five or more
I don’t mean to complain.... I have received some tremendous words and gifts of gratitude, but I feel like until I get one of these I will live unfulfilled.
If you have some free time on your hands, hunkered indoors - get some free education!
Today, I was surprised and pleased to see this fine gentleman walking the streets of Timmins. I don’t know if this is part of a concerted effort to have more police presence in our downtown core, having officers on foot rather than always in cars, or some sort of community outreach, but whatever it is - you picked the right guy. I watched Constable Rick Lemieux as he greeted many people he knew by name, waving always with a smile and humility that lends honour to the office...r’s pledge to serve. Many of you know - I don’t hesitate to call out a bad apple when I see one, but I will also give credit where it is due. @TimminsPolice - more of this please. Good job. I dare you to watch this - with the sound on and NOT crack a smile. This is the good stuff, soak it up. #prouddad #4yobaseballstar
Ontario Court of Justice announces this morning that courts will continue to be suspended until July 6, 2020 at the earliest. https://www.ontariocourts.ca/ocj/covid-19/
Lastly, certainly not least #10 of 10 albums that have most influenced my musical preferences Serena Ryder - 2006 if your memory serves you well... I may have memorized every song on this album, and mostly I’m fairly sure I sing the correct lyrics even though that is a sizeable feat for those who know me. #challengecomplete
#9 albums that most influenced my musical tastes: Garth Brooks - Ropin the Wind (which barely squeaks a win over In Pieces)
#8 Guns N Roses - use your illusion 1 - with such classics as don’t cry, live and let die, and November rain
