Friends, we have received a directive from The Salvation Army to suspend in-person worship services while our community is under Code Red COVID. We think this is a good idea to keep people safe. We will still be live streaming on Facebook every Sunday.

Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit will bring renewal across our land and that our Nation continues to foster acceptance, forgiveness, sharing and working together for a better Canada. We pray for Canada's leadership and for spiritual strength. Let's also remember to always pray for each other.

Well someone very special to us all had a 100th Birthday Celebration. Lil turned 100 and some friends, family and community drove by and waved hello. Lil has touched the lives of so many people over the years and she is loved dearly. God bless.

The Big Give will need to look a bit different this year because of Covid-19, but we believe there are still many ways you can give to your community during this crisis. We urge you to be in prayer not only for our church family but also for the initiative of spreading unconditional love and giving to others. May God be the one touching lives and working through us all we collectively think of doing something for someone else this Saturday June 6th. Maybe call a friend and pray together for others. Burlington Salvation Army Church will be participating this Saturday by sharing video's on FB, delivering chocolate and crafts to the shelter and praying for all, everywhere. #thebiggive20 #covid19
