THE AMERICAN PHILOSOPHICAL ASSOCIATION, SAN DIEGO 2011 will hold its 85th Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA from April 20th-April 22, 2011. Dr. Gregory Walters will chair the session on April, 22 and Dr. Rajesh C. Shukla will present on the contemporary relevance of Karl Jaspers's idea of the Axial Age, the Modern Tripartion, and ongoing East-West philosophical communication.

Congratulations to Dr. Sonia Mansour from the Faculty of Philosophy who received a group research grant for an amount close to $ 200,000 from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research ( CIHR). Dr. Mansour will be working in collaboration with researchers from the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Félicitations à la professeure Sonia Mansour-Robaey, PhD, de la Faculté de philosophie qui a obtenu une subvention de groupe des Instituts de Recherche en Santé du Canada (IRSC)) pour un montant de tout près de $200, 000. Professeure Mansour travaillera en collaboration avec des chercheurs de l’Hôpital des enfants de l’Est de l’Ontario.

Les étudiants de l'Université Saint-Paul sont invités à l'Avant première du film Des Hommes et des Dieux de Xavier Beauvois qui aura lieu à Ottawa au By Town le 2 Mars prochain à 19h30. Le visionnement du film sera suivi d'un débat. Le professeur Raymond Jahae sera un des intervenants. Les étudiants pourront participer.
