Here is the second video in our series about the Salmon Arm Bay. A few things - thanks so much for all the support for video #1! Please like and share our page. Without the dilligent work of SABNES, the Salmon Arm Bay and many of its species would be in disrepair. Should joining SABNES be of interest to you, please consider doing so! We would love to have you with us. The music in this video comes courtesy of Torrey McKee, a local musician. Thanks again!

Hi there! As many of you know, we have made some alterations this year to the ways the Nature centre will be operating. While the building will not be open to the public, we have set up a desk and tent where you can ask questions and view specimens. Also, we will be implementing some guided walking tours and other exciting activities. Come out and enjoy the beauty of the nature bay! P.S. stay tuned for some weekly videos from your nature interpreters! SABNES team

Exciting News! SABNES has hired two students as Nature Interpreters, Ethan Quilty for weekdays, and Scott Girvan for the weekends starting June 1, 2020. The Brighouse Nature Centre will have a new look this year as we will have a large tent on the deck. The building will be closed to the public, but the Interpreters will be there to assist you as before. They have a number of new activities planned for this summer so stay tuned. Stop by the Centre and say "Hello."
