Let's take a closer look at this gradient shall we The gradients included in the brand for @jordanpickellcounselling (30 duos in total!!) add a little bit of a magic touch to the brand something we had originally thought we might bring in with light and shadows when we were in the mood board phase. In Jordan's own words:... "It is incredible how you've been able to translate my brand strategy into this design. The words are front and centre with a modern, sumptuous font. The colours again symbolize groundedness, growth, and transformation. The shadows and handwritten elements make it seem more human. The pink-purple gradient stops it from being too serious. I am in love." This colour pairing in a gradient and the deep green will the core foundational elements of the brand, while the secondary colour palette adds a range of extra options that Jordan can use on her Instagram posts. If you want to see some of those in action take a look at her feed the use of the new brand is looking @jordanpickellcounselling Swipe to see those colours we're talking about and let us know if this gradient gives you those *magic* feels too See more

Meet Lucy and Carina! Our new admin support who have made us a super organized team of 6 You might remember that we were hiring a contract admin assistant a few months ago... well when we met with Lucy (an admin assistant with experience in PR and film) we were sold. But then we also met with Carina (who has a wealth of project management and process development experience) aaaand we couldn’t say no. ... So, we hired them both! Splitting their role across admin (for our clients, process and systems) and marketing (for our podcast primarily) we ended up bringing both Lucy and Carina onto the team. Both of these lovely ladies (who both use the pronouns she/her) will be in the occasional email and will be supporting us a lot in the day to day running of our business. We’re stoked to have them both on the team! Welcome, @lucy_gguo and @Carina Stirling!! See more

We're so excited to be delving into brand design for @jordanpickellcounselling this week! With a powerhouse like Jordan behind the brand, we feel honoured to bring her visual identity to life and are particularly excited about the impact she is going to continue to have on millennial women, and particularly women of colour. This brand is grounded, it's fierce, it's unapologetic, and it's vulnerable. It's all about meeting you where you are and taking you someplace ...new with a focus on relationships, communication and healing from trauma (including the traumas of simply existing). Swipe to see the colour palette we're starting brand design with and the mood board, which we'll share more of soon! See more

Almost 2 years ago exactly we were in the process of creating this mood board for the @adyaconsutling brand. We just launched the website last week so we thought we'd do a little walk down memory lane to look at the classically styled mood board where it all began. Swipe to see a preview of the website and we'll share more on our stories sooon!

Hey, neighbour! Swipe to see the FULL brand for Seb's Cafe & Corner store We've been sharing snippets of this brand for weeks now because not only is it one of the biggest brands we've created (in terms of final deliverables ) it's also one of the most fun and joyful. Seb's Cafe & Corner is a soon to be a mainstay on Commercial Drive that will be 100% community-led. ... Founder Susan has been living and working on the Drive for years now in a kid's toy store and noticed the real lack of space for parents to gather and connect. Enter Seb's. Named after her son, Seb's will be a space for parents to grab a simple dinner to take home, stay, and chat with a friend or drop of their kid for a sensory-friendly play date. With funding for the space coming from a Kickstarter and membership model, Sebs will TRULY be run by the community. To make it feel comfortable, fun, and nostalgic for her customers, Susan wanted to lean straight into the decades of her childhood. And, as you might have already noticed, this brand is just that with hints of the '70s, '80s, AND '90s blended together. So! Swipe to see the icons, the patterns, the logos, and all those fun colours in action See more

REBRAND Introducing the new Project Love Run! Swipe through to see the details (and the original logo!) @projectloverun is not your normal running club. In fact, it's a safe space for self-identified womxn to run and brunch; to embrace serious and heartful discussions; to embrace and improve upon the self-love and self-worth. ... It's reflective, intimate and caring. It's accepting, encouraging and compassionate. It's warm. And when we sat down to discuss the changes we were going to make to the brand, we immediately identified that the brand as a whole felt cold it had a crisp, light blue that did not give off the warm feeling that really is at the centre of this collective. So, as you may have seen with the mood board for the project that we shared a few posts back, we wanted to lean into the warmth and femininity that the collective embodies. We went through a few different concepts to get there testing out soft pinks and more fitness-focused styles and eventually landed on this earth-tone heavy brand that you see here. Pairing the colours and fonts with beautiful illustrations by @msjulianova we've created a brand that represents the ethos and experience of Project Love Run. Next up, web design! See more

Create a stir Last week Stir, a new digital magazine spotlighting Vancouver's arts and culture launched and we cannot believe we built this website! As the biggest site we've ever built, it was also one of the quickest and has a huge amount of code with fun animated sections, auto-scrolling article previews, and logos that change when you scroll. Swipe through to see some sections of the homepage and go to createastir.ca to see the website in action!
