Sea-Run No Sale Contest Announcement - Win a Saltwater Fishing Trip with First Fish Charters! Our first prize draw for the 2020 No-Sale Event is an 8 hour guide...d saltwater salmon fishing trip for 4 people with our good friend Warren Barker, owner of First Fish Charters and Pro Staff for Normark Canada. We will be running some of these prize draws with just a "like" to enter, however this ones has a bit of a twist to it. In order to be entered in this draw we need to see you spreading some love for the world, hey the world needs it right now! Entry fee in this draw is a donation, to a charity of your choice that helps out with the current mess we are all in. Donate to say VGH-Covid Response Fund and post a pic of the receipt and you’re entered. We are only using this fund as an example there’s many ways to be helping out right now other charities food banks etc. Whatever you would like to do let’s spread some love and one lucky entry is going to go fishing! Like most other Vancouver Charter companies, First Fish Charters is not fishing right now to do their part to slow the spread of Covid-19, so the winners fishing dates would be valid September 30th 2020 forward. To enter please post a copy of your receipt in the comments section, send a copy by DM or email at [email protected]. Please make sure you black out any personal information such as your phone number or address, etc. We will randomly draw a lucky winner on Saturday April 11, 2020. Thanks for playing everyone, share this post and let’s raise some money together!

Due to the escalating threat of Covid 19, we will be suspending charter operations indefinitely. Hoping that everyone stays safe and healthy in this tough time. We will provide an update midsummer.... Tight lines and thank you to all of our guests.

Hello everyone Producer Kirk here, so here is our video from yesterdays peaceful protest that Mike Mitchell and I attended which was organized by Highwater Tack...le Ltd. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO AS WELL so we can crank up the heat on Mr. Wilkinson for a response. Global TV CBC Vancouver

From the Fisheries Minister. " I want to ensure that we do not knowingly put these stocks on a path to extinction". By not addressing the real issues facin...g these fish, is he lying? There are many, healthy sustainable hatchery and wild chinook runs that can sustain first nations, recreational and commercial harvest. He had sustainable options given to him by the DFO, but he ignored them. How does a fishery that barely impacts the threatened Fraser Stock play any meaningful role in its recovery. The biggest threat to coastal communities and their way of life is this same government. See you at the peaceful rally outside of Jonathan Wilkinson's office between 12pm and 1pm on Wednesday May 1st, 2019. Fisheries Minister Jonathan Wilkinson’s Office 102 W 3 Street, North Vancouver

Decent schools of coho in the harbour today. 1 freshy 7lb hatch, released a similar wild and lost a few. All down deep. Sunshine and good seas topped off an already fun day. Happy fishing #cohosalmon #vancouverharbour #vancouverisawesome #wheretofish #rhysdavis #octoberfishing @ Vancouver, British Columbia

Always a great bonus to see the orcas on a fishing trip just outside Vancouver harbour a few weeks ago. Shaky camera as we had to zoom way in to keep our distance. Happy fishing! #vancouverharbour #srkw #wheretofish #chinooksalmonfishing #wefishhere #respectfornature #vancouverisawesome

Nothing quite like your very first fish...on your 60th bday. Lost another one just a bit smaller. And this is how the fishing addiction begins. Happy birthday and happy fishing. #rhysdavis #watermarkflashers #vancouverisawesome #chinooksalmonfishing #happybirthday
