Samson Enterprises is seeking an experienced Millwright/Mechanic to start work immediately at their Marine Site located in Petit De Grat. Position: Marine Millwright/Mechanic Type: Monday Friday | 8:00am to 4:30pm | Permanent, Full-time (40hrs) Wage: $20-$27/hr (Depending on experience)... Responsibilities & Duties: Perform removal and installation of propulsion systems including rudders, propellers, shafts and bearing assemblies Alignment of systems Removal and installation of steering systems Conduct required maintenance as required on all mechanical systems Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions Will be exposed to environmental elements as work is conducted inside and outside throughout the year Other duties as instructed by supervisor Requirements: Previous shipyard marine experience is preferred Previous mechanic experience is necessary Applicants must be safety conscious Able to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways, and up and down antenna masts, marine slips and gangways (onboard ships) Possess the ability to work well both with a team or unsupervised Applicants must provide steel toe boots

We have finished our first 45 MAGNA XL Samson Enterprises wants to thank Carla and Dwayne Samson for choosing us to do so! The boat performed excellent and we are very pleased with the finished product. The boat did 20 knots with a D-11 625 Volvo engine.
