As 2020 comes to an end, I would like to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my business this past year. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients, partners, friends and family who have recommended me, and worked with me this year. It is because of your support that my business has continued to grow, and I have been able to assist so many people with their financing goals. Whether it is purchasing a first home, dream home, or taking advanta...ge of equity to restructure, and help with cash flow, I am thrilled to work with each and every one of my clients. I am grateful to once again remain in the Top 20 at Mortgage Brokers Ottawa doing a job that I absolutely love. Wishing everyone a safe and healthy start to the new year.

****UPDATE**** Yesterday, The Bank of Canada opted to keep its benchmark interest rate steady at 0.25 per cent on Wednesday, noting that Canada's economic recovery from COVID-19 is proceeding in line with expectations At the bank's last meeting in October, it signaled that it would keep the rate at its current level until at least 2023 because that's how long it thinks it will take to make a full recovery.... https://www.cbc.ca//bank-of-canada-benchmark-interest-rate

Purchase Plus Improvements with Sagen Canada. What is it? How do I qualify? What is covered? The Purchase Plus Improvements program allows you to incorporate renovation money into your mortgage when you purchase your new home. This will save you paying out of pocket, or putting the renos on a credit line or credit card.... This program also allows you to finance the renos right away, rather than waiting for enough equity to build in your home before you are able to refinance to pull out equity . What renos will qualify? The renos need to add value, and be fixed to the property. The most common Purchase Plus renovations are flooring, kitchens and basements. For questions on how to qualify, what is covered, and how to access the funds, please reach out by phone or email.

The most common question I get asked multiple times a day is "what is your best rate?" Mortgages are personal, and there are a number of very important factors to consider before signing for your mortgage; rate included. *Do you know the terms and conditions attached to your mortgage? *Has your mortgage provider shown you the fine print around how penalties are calculated? When signing on for a new mortgage, it is so important to look at your financial situation today, but al...so consider tomorrow's goals. All mortgages are not created equal. Please reach out if you have any questions, or would like to review your existing mortgage. See more
