Here's a link for the newspaper article written up on Prairie Storms Juno Beach game in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. SAS played on the Allies side of the game storming the beach and managed to take the win by the end of the day. Last weekend the Western Chapters of SAS Canada put on a game called Shooting for a Cause 4, at Capture the Flag Paintball and Airsoft in Cochrane, AB. This game is put on every year to to raise funds for the charity Helping Families Handle Cancer. This year over $7000 was raised, bringing a total of $18,737 over the last 4 games being donated for the charity. This is what SAS Woodsball is all about. It makes me proud to be the Canada Chapter president, knowing there are memb...ers working hard giving back to the community, and having a good time doing it. Great day was had by all at Operation: Honey Badger 6. SAS Canada would like to give a huge thanks to the event organisers Adam Collyer and Konrad, and yes, you too Brandon Collyer. And not too mention all the people behind the scenes helping make this happen. Every year you guys put on a great event and we look forward to the next one. A big shout out to all the vendors keeping us geared up and donating the awesome prizes. Thankyou so much for all your continued support to ...our craziness. A huge thanks to Evan Henshaw at Milsig Direct Canada for providing lunch for us hungry magtards, its greatly apprecited. The SAS crew from the northern Alberta area of SAS Western Canada were out at the Splatter Paintball field yesterday for their annual Big Bother/Big Sister fundraiser game. After the fundraiser game the crew had a blast playing with the splatmasters out on the field and getting the little kids involved. *missing from pic is Robert "Friar" Tuck.

It was an awesome day out at Young Guns Paintball yesterday in Stoney Plain, Alberta with members from the whole northern half of the province coming out in attendance. We are missing two members in the pic as they had to leave so they are greatly missed standing with the banner. Team SAS helped bring the Rebel team to a win of 30-6 again the special forces team so we were very excited. It was an incredible start to our paintball season out here in western Canada. Big shout out to R&D Paintball Productions on putting on a hugely successful event "The Division" magfed game at Flagraiders. SAS Canada had a great time and we look forward to future R&D hosted events. Also congratulations to SAS's own Gary J. Johnson on pulling out the victory as the LMB General. The opposing side, led by the Ritchie Bros., were a dominating force all day, and gave us everything they had, and more. Well played everyone!

This week with SAS Western Canada members from north and central Alberta will be attending the Sons of Anarchy big game at Young Guns Paintball on July 3rd. Team signed up on is the Niners. Members in the Grande Prairie area not attending the big game will be playing out at Splatter Paintball just east of Grande Prairie. No other known games (big games or otherwise) are scheduled for the Regina, Macklin, Calgary, Cranbrook, Victoria, or Fort St John. Will edit if anything changes. A few members from the northern Alberta/Grande / SAS Northern BC sections met up at Splatter Paintball in the Grande Prairie area for Battle Royale which is a "Big Brothers/Big Sisters" fundraiser charity game. We had the biggest turnout to date with over 100 players. We raised just under $400 from the 50/50 raffle alone. Picture was taken with a members drone.

The Edmonton area, Grande Prairie area and Fort St. John area at Young Guns Paintball yesterday for their Big Game. Not the greatest game but lots of great company plus we had both our Fort Mac boys come out. These sections have offered to help the two members out with anything needed and some brought supplies for the one members baby. Four members not pictured.

There is a game in Western Canada called Shooting for a Cause which is paired with a local charity called the Helping Families Handle Cancer Foundation. 100% of funds raised by this charity goes right to those they are helping be it medical bills, personal bills, groceries, home care etc. This game is in it's third year and just keeps getting better and better. The Alberta sas crew is hitting up Young Guns Paintball in Stoney Plain Alberta today for the first scenario of the 2016 season. The weather has favoured us out here in recent months and there is little to no snow with amazing paintball temperatures.
