Salvation Army Food Hamper Drive Through January 7, 2021, 2:00pm 4:00pm Juan De Fuca Library Parking Lot The Salvation Army is providing a complimentary food ...hamper pick up on January 7th at Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre (Library Parking Lot) for West Shore community members in need. The Food Hamper will include: Selection of Fresh Produce, Dry and Canned Goods. Sometimes it will include toiletries, lunch snack, eggs, peanut butter. There is always flexibility what can be provided based on what may be available to the Salvation Army. The amount of food provided is quite substantial, enough for a family of 4 for 3-4 days, and we do not recommend pickups without a vehicle. If you have a friend who is picking up for you please indicate in the notes section. To Secure a Hamper: please register online, in person or over the phone at the West Shore Recreation Main Reception within the time spots available. Registration opens Dec 21st 9:00am. Information as follows: 38202 2:00 2:30 pm slot 38288 2:30 3:00 pm slot 38290 3:00 3:30 pm slot 38292 3:30 4:00 pm slot https://westshorerecreation.perfectmind.com Main Reception: 250-478-8384 Deliveries can be provided between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on January 7th. Please register in a time slot but be aware that your delivery will come between 11am & 3pm. When picking up please arrive within your pickup window. PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK and DO NOT leave your vehicle unless instructed. Patrons who come at alternative times, may need to wait for an available time. Volunteers will place the hamper in the trunk of your car. If all time slots are full, there MAY be hampers available between 3:45 and 4:00 pm.

We've been busy here helping out our families during these crazy times Over 250+ bags of school supplies given to families who could use a little help with the financial burden of sending kids to school. 30+ "Camp in a Bag" bags handed to families who missed out on their Camp. There have been many to conversations and meaningful exchanges. Family stress levels and anxieties are at an all time high right now We are grateful to provide some positive things for them an...d to reassure them they have friends in their corner .
