SaskAmateur Photo Competition 04.10.2020

SaskAm 2020 is now open. Deadline is not until September, but now's the time to start planning your entries or get shooting! Here's our 3rd place animals winner from last year. Photographer: Glenda Kozicki Photo: Hang Ten... Camera: Fujifilm X-T20 Lens: Fujifilm XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS Settings: ISO 400 f/7.1 And the story behind the shot! "My husband and I were on a whale watching tour in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was a hot and sunny afternoon and we were in a small Zodiac boat chasing whale breeches. I felt that the tour was a bust because we didn't catch one breech. We only saw a few tails slaps in the whole 2 hours of the ocean. It was tricky to catch a picture of the whale tail from the boat. Other tourists were just as eager as I was to get a picture. Luckily a whale slapped his tail on my side of the boat and I caught it in time."
