Although this may seem insignificant, it brought joy to my father during a difficult time. To me, The Salvation Army is a quiet hero. As an avid runner, Denni...s joined the Santa Shuffle to run in a cheerful event during Christmastime. But that’s not his only reasonto Dennis, the Santa Shuffle brings a glimmer of hope to those in need. Dennis knows all too well how meaningful small gestures can be. When his father was in the hospital, Salvation Army volunteers gave him a ‘goodie’ bag filled with small Christmas trinkets and chocolates. This gesture, although small, brought joy. Thanks to our Santa Shuffle participants, The Salvation Army in Canada to bring hope and happiness to people like Dennis’ father.
