Kids can assemble their own parfaits, choosing their favorite ingredients, making eating healthy fun!! Here’s a very simple parfait recipe, Ingredients for 2 Parfait...s: 2 (4 oz each) of Saugeen Country Dairy Yogurt 1/4 cup Cereal or Granola of your choosing 1 cup fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries) Add honey or maple syrup if you feel or if fruit isn’t available. It’s an easy snack that’s filling, delivers big nutrition and packs lots of delicious flavours!

It sounds fancy, but in reality it’s just layers of yogurt and fresh or frozen fruit that has been topped with a scoop of granola. HOW DO YOU MAKE YOGURT PARFAITS? First: Add a scoop of Saugeen Country Dairy Organic Yogurt. Next: Toss some fresh or frozen fruit of your choice on top of the yogurt. We like to use an assortment of berries. Then: Repeat Finally: Top it all with a some crunchy granola. Add some honey or a bit of jam if you feel the need to sweeten it up a bit more! Easy and something that everyone can enjoy!

There’s nothing better than a classic strawberry banana smoothie! Here’s a quick and easy recipe that we enjoy! Ingredients: - 1 frozen peeled banana - 4 fresh or frozen strawberries... - 1/3 cup of milk (any milk will do) - 1/4 cup of Saugeen Country Dairy yogurt - 1 tsp honey (optional) Instructions: Place ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately. Simple, quick and yummy!

The Market Shoppe is a wonderful store in beautiful Markdale Ontario. They sell local foods ranging from produce, baked goods, gluten free, preserves, frozen foods, meats, meals to go and much much more.
