Among the measures was a new provincial state of public health emergency, and ahead of that announcement, Nenshi said the city will look at declaring a local emergency too.

There are CBC and Globe & Mail stories in Manitoba of a hospital so overwhelmed with COVID patients that doctors are forced to triage patients in their car. Yet a citizen journalist went to the same hospital and found it empty with no one in the waiting rooms. This is a clear case of fake news, but ask yourself why? Did the government push these stories on journalists to publish without fact checking? If so, then why? Is it to scare the public into accepting the latest tyran...nical lockdowns? Undermining public faith in our institutions is dangerous, but it isn't nearly as dangerous as trusting those institutions. Let's replace "trust" in institutions with transparency and good systems. Calgary Is Beginning To Resemble Seattle A Little Bit More Each Day

in the entire pandemic, there have been 1,278 people hospitalized and 220 people placed in ICU and we are being told that this is placing the hospital system in undue stress. But in 2017-18 there were 3,097 people hospitalized with influenza and 249 admissions to ICU. Why were hospital administrators able to handle the surge in patients back then without locking society down and they can’t manage the surge in patients now?
