The moment I noticed this Eastern Grey Squirrel carrying a cluster of bright red berries in its mouth, I just had to get its photo! At top squirrel speeds, it darted in and out of dense thickets and bushes. He was extra careful not to drop any berries! ALWAYS well concealed by nature, safe from predators or other hungry squirrels. Finally, this Squirrel climbed up a mature tree and sat on a sturdy branch to feast on its berries.... #DYK, Eastern Grey Squirrels need to consume great amounts of foods and fat to become thicker for winter!?
