Although our theatre and studios remain empty, we are delighted to be working virtually with our amazing students once again Our first week of classes with our second and third year students is off to a great start! Additionally, as part of our commitment to education, and recognizing our responsibility in eliminating systemic barriers within the School and the dance community, we started the term with a training session on Respectful Workplaces, Human Rights, and Non-...Harrassment/Discrimination hosted by Cultural Pluralism in the Arts Movement Ontario (CPAMO). Students, faculty, and staff were all in attendance, and we look forward to our continued work with CPAMO in January. As conversations continue and we move ahead through the year, we continue working to improve our efforts to be allies, and to promote a fair and inclusive community in which to work, study, and live. Welcome back to our students, who began their registration virtually today! We are so looking forward to starting classes online on Monday, October 19, 2020. A reminder that the School is currently on a work/study-from-home protocol until November 6. We will phase everyone back to school for in-studio training starting November 9, if we are permitted to do so after the 28-day protocol. Modern Dance Expression: a four-class series of outdoor dance classes, taught by the wonderful Megan Nadain - Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7:30, October 6-27, 2020 in Wellesley Park. Although we can’t dance together in our usual ways at 80 Winchester this term, we’ve decided to host an all-levels class created as a way to celebrate community, music, exercise, and of course, our love for dance! If you have a passion (or just a curiosity) for modern dance, we invite you to join us: h...ttps://schooloftdt.org/adult-rec/ : Marlowe Porter Photography #schooloftdt #contemporarydance #recreationaldance #danceclass #outdoordance #danceTO
