Merlis Belsher made a $210,000 donation in 2014 to support Saskatchewan's first robot that was subsequently named after his youngest son Patrick. Robot Patrick... lives on 6th Floor Neurology and is programmed to access all patient areas within RUH. He made his way down to the O.R. on Friday, to connect a surgeon from Kentucky with Dr. Vitali for a new procedure he was undertaking at RUH - a dorsal root stimulator insertion (stimulation on the spinal column). Photo 1: LPN Katelyn Lorenz was excited to work with Patrick for the first time!
