I just wanted to pop on here and give you all an update on stock at the store . . . We have been putting in countless orders with all our suppliers to get all the products you need for this holiday season! Unfortunately due to COVID nothing is looking the same . .... . Suppliers are having troubles keeping up with the demand so they are either putting limits on products I’m ordering (for example a cookie cutter I usually order 96 of , they are putting a limit of just 12 ) , or they are not getting in the supplies they need to make the products so they are out of stock of a lot, or with such high demand they are out of stock with no idea when items will be back in stock... . Suppliers are also having way longer turn around times for us to receive the products. . . I just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU, thank you for ALL the support through these crazy months and with the holiday season coming in fast it’s just going to get more crazy. . . Fully restocked on all our flavours and emulsions from @lorannoils !! . . What’s the difference you may ask? Super strength Flavours / Extracts : are primarily alcohol based and are stronger than a bakery emulsion! Add these to icing (buttercream & Royal), candies, gummies, pudding, jello or any treat that is not going to be heated for a significant portion of time. Because flavours are alcohol based they are not a good choice for in the batter of cakes and cupcakes be...cause they will (to a certain extent) evaporate out during the baking process. Can you use flavours for baking? yes but you have to put in more of the flavour in to the batter than you would of the similar flavour in a baking emulsion. Some of the Lorann Flavours are labelled "Oils" which means they are a natural oil and unlike the alcohol based flavours these are fine for baking. . . Emulsions are the go to choice for cake & cupcake batter, breads anything that will be in the oven for a significant portion of time.
