#NewProductAlert The latest addition to TaylorMade Golf's popular Spider franchise is the Spider S. The square-frame putter head is outfitted with a pair of 48g tungsten sole weights that are strategically placed on the toe and the heel to help stabilize the putter while also optimizing CG location. A heavy tungsten backbar (55g, 65g or 80g) influences head weight, feel and performance too to deliver consistent roll on strikes across the face. Offered in two different colours, Navy and Chalk, as well as 33, 34 and 35 lengths. The heaviest backbar weight (80g) pairs with the shortest putter length (33") and vice versa.

SCOREGolf 01.02.2020

#NewProductAlert Drawing inspiration from other super stable designs such as bridges and tennis racquets, TaylorMade Golf has unveiled a new line of putters called Truss. With two connection points to the head instead of one, it is engineered to eliminate twisting at impact yet maintains a classic look at address. Both blade and mallet models come with a heel- or centre-hosel option while all four models feature the company's PureRoll face insert. Adjustable sole weights allow for an extra bit of CG personalization too.

SCOREGolf 08.01.2020

#NewProductAlert TaylorMade Golf has completely revamped its high-visibility line of pix balls, which will be available in both the TP5 and TP5x models for the first time. This second-generation version includes 12 strategically placed multi-colour graphics, developed with Rickie Fowler, to form a visual technology called ClearPath Alignment. It not only helps with alignment but it provides immediate feedback on the quality of the roll. On a well-struck putt where the ball is rolling end-over-end, golfers can see a natural pathway in the middle of ball to confirm its on line and without sidespin.

#NewProductAlert Introducing Mizuno's ST200 Driver (fairways and hybrids included in the line too), a collaboration between the company's Japanese and U.S. R&D teams. That means using exotic materials and craftsmen from Japan and getting feedback from American tour players such as Keith Mitchell. The key to the driver's technology is a forged SAT Beta 2041 titanium face that is extremely responsive while being 17 per cent stronger, and maintaining performance for longer, th...an traditional 6-4 titanium. The compacted WAVE Sole and a variable-thickness graphite crown, pushed low and deep in the head, yield low spin and increased stability on off-centre strikes. Plus, an additional 11.6-gram back weight enhances low spin efficiency and maximizes forgiveness. #mizuno #drivers #golfgear #golfequipment #instagolf

#NewProductWatch Brand new wheels from adidas golf with the introduction of CODECHAOS, a men's and women's line the company says challenges "what the definition of a golf shoe can be." SCOREGolf 03.10.2019

#NewProductAlert Master craftsman Bob Vokey has introduced the next generation of his Titleist Spin Milled Wedges. The big change with the SM8 series is a progressive but forward centre of gravity position actually hovering in front of the wedge face, says Titleist that leads to the wedge being square at impact on every swing. That means better distance and trajectory control and more solid strikes. The new wedges are available in six sole grinds. #golfgear #equipment #titleist #bobvokey #wedges

SCOREGolf 16.09.2019

#NewProductAlert Callaway's latest golf ball is all about distance, hence the name Superhot. That is achieved with an aerodynamic design built for "low drag and optimal lift that keeps the ball in the air longer with a strong flight." Plus, spin around the greens is increased thanks to a three-piece construction and soft cover. The moderately priced balls are available in three colours: White; Matte Yellow; and Matte Red. ... #callaway #golfgear #golfequipment #golfballs #instagolf

From PUMA: "The PWRACAGE saddle wraps around the medial and lateral sides of the shoe providing unmatched stability. #NewProductAlert PING has introduced its first flatsticks made with high-pressure aluminum casting in the nine-model Heppler line of putters that's comprised of blades, mid-mallets and mallets. The process allows for precise weight positioning, which leads to maximum MOI and forgiveness. These putters feature solid face construction, either of steel or aluminum, the key yield of which is a firmer feel and sound off the face that provides the golfer with more feedback. The f...ace material is positioned differently depending on the putter model to optimize centre of gravity. The putters are finished in black chrome and come with PING's adjustable length shafts. #putters #golfgear #golfequipment #ping #instagolf

SCOREGolf 09.08.2019

#NewProductAlert Billed as the longest and most forgiving iron the company has ever produced, PING's new G710 iron comes in a sleek dark chrome finish called hydropearl stealth and standard with Arccos Caddie Smart Grips and a free 90-day trial of the Arccos Caddie app. The G710 faces are precision forged of maraging steel while the stainless steel body includes heel and toe high-density tungsten weights for a five per-cent increase in MOI compared to the G700s. ... The hollow-body design is also said to have improved sound and feel characteristics through "extensive modal analysis" that helps eliminate undesirable frequencies. #ping #irons #golfgear #golfequipment #instagolf

SCOREGolf 06.08.2019

#NewProductAlert Titleist is extending its T-Series line with the introduction of the T400, an "easy-launching super distance" iron. They feature a split sole design, a super-thin face and wide body, and a hollow head construction strengthened by high-density tungsten to help golfers launch the ball high and far. "There are so many golfers, particularly players with moderate swing speeds, who can benefit from this technology. T400 gets the absolute most out of your swing while still providing the playability of a Titleist iron along with that look, sound and feel that dedicated players demand." - Josh Talge, Vice-President of Marketing, Titleist Golf Clubs. #golfgear #irons #titleist #golfequipment

SCOREGolf 25.07.2019

#NewProductAlert The latest Titleist putters from Scotty Cameron are out with his Special Select line including eight models in all. Reworks have been done to Cameron's famed Newport, Newport 2 and Newport 2.5 blades as well as to his Del Mar, Fastback 1.5, Squareback 2, Flowback 5 and Flowback 5.5 mid-mallet models. I’m always inspired by the putters that result from working directly with the best players in the world. With Special Select, I wanted to get back to the pure-milled shapes and faces that I’ve been crafting for tour players for over two decades now. We’ve brought those designs into the modern era with new setups, necks, faces, grips and weights. Every aspect of every putter has been redone. When it all came together, it was pretty special. - Scotty Cameron #golfgear #golfequipment #putters #titleist #scottycameron

#NewProductAlert Odyssey has come out with a drastically different putter alignment system today with the introduction of Triple Track putters. Drawing inspiration from Callaway's ERC Soft and Chrome Soft golf balls, which also contain Triple Track, the alignment technology utilizes Vernier Hyper Acuity, which is used to land planes on aircraft carriers. Odyssey claims it will greatly improve your alignment for better putting accuracy. These putters also contain Odyssey's St...roke Lab technology and new Microhinge Star face insert. #NewProductAlert Following up on last year's massively successful launch of its Stroke Lab putters, Odyssey has unveiled a new Stroke Lab Black line. In addition to their black finish, the putters contained a new Microhinge Star insert, which provides firmer feel and brighter sound while promoting forward-spinning roll at impact. And of course, they contain Odyssey's Stroke Lab technology, which weights the putter shaft such that more control is put into the hands of the go...lfer. There are seven models in all: Ten, Bird of Prey, One, Double Wide, Seven, Rossie and R-Line Arrow. #golfgear #golfequipment #callaway #putters #odyssey

#NewProductAlert Following up on the success of last year's T100 irons, Titleist has introduced T100S. A Player's Forged Distance Iron. That means these irons are calibrated with two degrees stronger loft to give better players more distance. While we’ve engineered T100S for distance, this still a precision product. To be a great iron player you need to be in control of your distances and have the ability to work the ball when the shot calls for it. The design of T100S... simply allows players to hit their number from even farther away with the tight dispersion and proper trajectory they need to hit it close. - Marni Ines, Director, Titleist Irons Development, Golf Club R&D See more
