A message from Alex Handyside: . As many of you may know, I had major surgery recently. I am recovering well, however it has helped me realize that it's time to move on. ScotiaCare is now under new ownership. .... Creating and growing a successful, award-winning, home-care business was both challenging and rewarding. But the most rewarding part was working with - and for - our fabulous staff, and serving our wonderful clients. I loved every minute. . In fact, it was one of my staff who approached me and suggested an employee buy-out. I readily agreed. Many of you will be familiar with my Administration Officer, Karen Flynn. Well, Karen, and her partner Shawn, are the new owners of ScotiaCare. And I could not be more pleased. . I wish Karen and Shawn every success.
