Great idea as we all get a bit busy Great reminder! :)

Today, Anarah & Aria learned about safe touch / not safe touch. They know red means stop, yellow means slow down & green means go. So we applied it to safe par...ts of our bodies. Their privates are red for obvious reasons.. they’re private. Nobody should be touching these areas. Mommies & daddies (or another safe guardian) will help us wipe sometimes because we’re still learning how to do it ourselves. But strangers should never touch them and if they do, they learned they should yell Stop & go tell mommy. Our mouths are yellow because we kiss adults we trust sometimes.. like mommies, daddies & grandparents. But we need to slow down and ask if it’s ok. We also touched base on putting candy/food in our mouth that strangers offer. We always ask mommy first. Hands are green because they are safe areas to touch with permission (we also said this about feet because Aria asked, but we just didn’t mark them) It was a learning experience for them.. and a healing one for me. It was triggering for me working on this with them because I wish someone would have taken time to teach me these things as well as gave me a safe space to come to when I experienced sexual abuse. But I’m thankful for the opportunity to provide it for my kids so that they will never have to experience being violated.. & mother divine forbid that they do.. they know they have someone who will bust hell all the way open for them.
