Last weekend was time well spent with my daughter and a couple of our close family friends on what was supposed to be a 16-17KM hike only to find out that the floating bridge that was supposed to be floating had sunk. A bit of a bushwhacking detour and a total of 23KM later we were back at the truck. Life is like that...sometimes unexpected barriers or obstacles come up that need to be navigated and we have to persevere and push through or somehow find a way. #workhardplayhard #perseverance #onlyforward #scottnapierrealestate

Mesmerized by the vastness of the Peace River valley while looking towards where the Halfway River merges with the Peace River. This could be one of the last times I see the valley this way because most of this area will be flooded once the Site C Dam is completed in a couple of years. I’m usually all for progression, but somehow this makes me sad to think that this landscape will be changed (and is already changing with new roads and bridges being built and trees being cleared) forever. #thankfulforthismoment
