About the Opportunity Accurate Fabricating currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Surrey BC, on a full-time basis. As our new Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will provide technical data and support to project managers, manufacturing, and installation teams to bridge the gap between design and product delivery. In order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with a demonstrated ability to lead a team. A Mechanical engineering degree, EIT or P.Eng is preferred. Advanced training and ability in Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD is also required for a candidate to be successful within the role. About the opportunity: We are currently looking for an Access Road & Lower Camp Superintendent at our Brucejack Mine in northwestern British Columbia. This position will be based out of our Knipple Camp, Access Road & Lower Camps Department. This position reports to the Access Road & Lower Camps Manager or designate. The purpose of the position is to ensure supervision and general oversight with respect to the following services: -Lower camp operations. -Safety. -Environment. -Other project specific contractors. This position provides general direction to Pretium personnel on all matters affecting the planning, construction, maintenance and ongoing service of the mine access road, camps, infrastructure, ensuring the work is carried out and completed in a safe and effective manner. The position also requires the control and monitoring of daily resources, preparation of daily work plans, attendance at daily toolbox meeting, compliance of the Pretium safety inspection program amongst others. Qualifications: -A post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering, or Forestry Engineering or related discipline is preferred -A C.E.T. or P.Eng. designation would be an asset -Seven to ten years of increasing responsibility in road management, maintenance and operations, and snow removal; experience including supervisory and budgetary -Or any equivalent combination of education and experience as noted above -A valid, unrestricted Class 5 License is required, or a willingness to obtain What we can offer you: We are committed to ensuring that all of our team members are kept healthy and safe.
