AMENDING A NATION'S CONSTITUTION to CONSIDER SPIRITUAL AS WELL AS MATERIAL FOUNDATIONS. Chile is voting soon to start re-doing the Constitution and local Baha’is have been hosting discussions on ways to build an equitable society. They have engaged 1000s of participants to consider spiritual concepts, such as justice and our essential oneness. Bravo to them for broadening the national conversation.

This short article on creation reminded me of a key life event some 50 years ago which triggered the decision to become a Baha'i. I was camping in Ohio and had gazed at night at the immense galaxy. The next morning I was contemplating a large seed pod. I cracked it open and took out one seed. I opened that seed; then the parts inside the seed, and so on as far as I could. For some reason the infinite galaxy and infinite nature of small objects built of ever smaller parts overwhelmed me with the realization that human physical life was just one part of God's design.
