We had a great weekend on Deer Island finishing up our Paddle Canada level 2 program. We had a great camp site for our over night and a beautiful sunset close Saturday night off. Thanks to all the participants who took part and my coaching staff Frank Postma and Matt Breau

Excited for May, it's the start of a very busy sea kayak training season. Thank you all who have signed up so far we still have a few spaces left on our June 12/13 level 1 skills course. We want to welcome Frank Postma, Matt Breau and Jack William to our instructors team this season. We are looking forward to seeing everyone on the water this summer.

I am planning my next Paddle Canada Level 1 Sea Kayak Skills program for July 4th/5th in the Moncton area. Message me if you are interested.

Hey Everyone, Sea Kayak Moncton has two upcoming sea kayaking courses coming up in May. There is a level 2 Paddle Canada sea kayak skills course that is scheduled for the weekends of May 9/10th and May 30/31. The alternate first weekend is May 16/17th if things haven't started to clear up yet. The level 1 skills program is set for May 23/24th. Great morning sea kayak surfing at Lawrencetown beach today. 3 to 4 footers with a 9 second period. The only casualty was my favorite Werner paddle which cracked at the joint unexpectedly when I was updside down setting up for a roll. I was really impressed with myself when I managed to roll up with a piece of my paddle in each hand.

Anyone looking to complete a Paddle Canada Level 1 course in June, I am just waiting to hear if we have the all clear to run.

Hey Everyone, all Paddle Canada course are put on hold till the end of May for now. I will update you on some new dates when I know when we can run them.

Our December paddle was a great 12km run from Alma to waterside beach on December 27th (my birthday paddle). Thanks to Judson, Dennis and Joel for joining.

I am well on my way to completing year 6 of the 10 year paddle every month challenge that I am currently undertaking. Today @joelfogarty and I drove to Lawrencetown beach and back and enjoyed some 3 to 5 foot waves at an 8 second interval. It was a bit dumpy but we had lots of great rides, both Joel and I got to practice our unintentional roles.
