Feeling nostalgic. Tomorrow Sona will be going to live at her new forever home with Matt. I've just been reflecting on her time here on the farm.

Now & Then Two years ago Sadik joined the pack as a 25 pound, 8 week old puppy. Fast forward 2 years and now 150 pounds, he has taken his place as leader of the pack.

Preventing food aggressive behaviour. I've heard horror stories of dogs injuring livestock or humans over food aggression, so it has been important to ensure that the dogs are calm around food and know what is theirs and what isn't. The dogs and alpaca don't usually eat together... but this training exercise is kinda nice so I think I'll make it part of the new morning routine.
