Did you know all our soups are made fresh every morning? Coming up - Broccoli Cheddar!

This week’s soup menu... Tuesday - Homemade Garden Tomato with a slice of warm focaccia Wednesday - Broccoli Cheddar topped with sharp cheddar and served with warm focaccia Thursday - Chicken Enchilada topped with cheese and served with crisp tortilla chips Friday - Borscht, topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt and server with a slice of focaccia ... Soups are ready each morning at 11am. You can also pre order a jar (serves 2-3 people) of your favourite soup with a loaf of sourdough focaccia for $20.

We are closed today. Open Tuesday and Wednesday and then closed for the Christmas break. If you’d like to make sure you’ve got your tasty treats for Christmas, we are accepting preorders until 2pm tomorrow. Back to regular hours this week!! The holidays were nice but getting back into routine is pretty great too. Remember if you want to make sure you get your @second.breakfast.cafe and @our.spot.coffee.shop goodies send us a DM the day before and we will make sure to have it ready for you!

Christmas morning... Growing up on a dairy farm meant that waking up and rushing to the tree on Christmas morning was not an option in our family. It was either rushing to get chores done or waiting impatiently for our parents to get in from the barn. Once everyone was in and cleaned up. We would pour our coffee or hot chocolate and the gift opening would begin... We weren’t allowed to rush through our gifts. We would go one at a time, one person would get to pick a gift f...or someone else to open, then that person would say who the gift was from, then open and appreciate what was inside. Once the gift was admired, then the opener could pick a gift for another. Christmas morning at the farm is an event to say the least. We savour it. Once the gift opening was done, then came the BRUNCH buffet.... More great coffee and Christmas goodies. Cinnamon buns are by far my favourite! (And I’m not just saying that because @our.spot.coffee.shop makes the best) What’s your Christmas tradition? Can we help make this year more special? With the newest COVID Christmas protocols released this week, the excitement of the holidays has dwindled a little. The thoughts of not having a family gathering has broken a few hearts. So we wanted to let you know we have a solution and that there are still a few room rental openings before Christmas and into the new year. We will take care of everything for your special visit, from the set up, to the food and warm drinks, plus handle all the cleaning up afterwards. Does...n’t that sound magical?! To us Christmas is about family and traditions. Maybe this year we can help you create a new tradition. DM for details.

One of our faves!!! This twist on PB&J is perfect for any age. It’s also made with ingredients that will have you firing on all cylinders for the the remainder of the morning. Note: this PB &J is peanut free. We use a nut and seed butter instead of actual PB.
