Hi everyone...on behalf of the Canada Day committee (Jill Burns, Lorraine Prue and myself, Shari Milligan) it is with great disappointment that we are announcin...g our Canada Day celebrations are cancelled for this year... we are confident that even IF restrictions are more relaxed by then, that the large crowds (upwards of 1000 people) we get each year will not yet be allowed. This event takes many months of planning, so the decision had to be made now. Thank you to everyone who usually helps out or donates to our festivities each year. We hope we can call on you for next year. Take care everyone and remember the more we follow the rules now, the quicker we can all get back to some sort of normalcy. Please stay safe. Stay positive. Stay kind. XO
FYI. This will help with financial resources to assist us during these difficult times.
Massive thank you to David and Helen at The Stone Mills Family Market for working day and night to keep our community fed. In these times we are all grateful to... have our local food market up and running. It is with great sadness, and after much deliberation, that due to recent events regarding COVID-19, I am announcing that I will not be opening this year. I will be available, by appointment, for consignors to come to the store to pick up items and/or for pay outs. I will have hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available. If you wish to donate items or payments I can arrange this for you, it would go to local charities to support those most in need. All items in the store must be cleared out by the end of April. I also want to say thank you for all the support over the last three years. This is an amazing community! It has been a pleasure getting to know my customers and consignors. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy during these uncertain times.
Hey there! I have an idea... I know everyone’s a little scared during this time of uncertainty and folks are out stocking up on essentials, but what if you coul...dn’t afford to purchase some extra groceries? Imagine how much more anxiety that would add? So, I’ve checked with the necessary folks and have permission to put a jug at the Stone Mills Family Market to accept donations for the New Legacy Centre’s Food Bank right here in Tamworth...I’m sure more people will need their help over the next while... thanks for considering a donation next time you’re in the store...there will also be a box there if you’d rather donate non-perishablesThey do not do online banking so e-transfers are not possible at this time. Thanks again and let’s do what this community does bestlook out for each other! LETS MAKE KINDNESS CONTAGIOUS !! PS you can also drop a Cheque in the jug... made out to Christ Church-New Legacy Centre...thank you!! Please share!!

Awesome products, just wanted to share this in support of a great local business!
I just wanted to assure everyone that I have not forgotten about my consignors. I have been down with the flu for several days and not sure when I will make it in for pick ups etc. I will keep everyone posted. Most of all, I do not want to take the chance of passing this along to anyone! It is a nasty little bug :(
Well, here it is. This is the last day of our season. Wishing everyone a very happy and wonderful holiday time filled with family and friends. As usual, the store will be packed up for the winter. Please call or message on here to book an appointment for pick ups and pay outs. Cheers and see you in the spring :)
