Thursday is our Team Meeting day! Today we did an internal training session with our Managers and Administraitors to spruce up on our Shiftsuite skills to ensure we can effectively use the software and help deliver high quality management to all our clients.

Did you know caulking has a typical service life of 10-12 years? The best way to preserve caulking is to monitor cracks and inflexible areas. Our regular site inspections include an in depth look at these areas and minor repairs are completed proactively. When the time comes this work must be carried out by a qualified contractor and it is critical that only high-quality materials are used, and all old caulking is removed before applying the new caulking.

Hi everyone! Not liking the looks of the potential ice storm starting tomorrow afternoon. 10-20 hours of moderate to heavy freezing rain + 70-90km/h wind gust...s after all the icing = very good chance of power outages that could last days. This is a serious situation. At this point, the hardest hit area will likely extend from Muskoka through areas east of Lake Simcoe (Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Bancroft and Peterborough) and into Eastern Ontario southwest of Ottawa (Kaladar, Perth/Smiths Falls and Kemptville). There is still a large amount of uncertainty with this event and not all of the aforementioned regions will be hit hard. Regardless, someone is going to see an ice storm. We’re already in the process of putting together our detailed forecast and will have it out sometime today (hopefully this afternoon but no promises). PLEASE take the time today to ensure you’re prepared for long lasting power outages and the inability to travel over the next few days. Don’t wait until the last moment! - Brennen P.
