A gentle reminder to my postpartum families, I offer a 30 min wellness check in either through zoom or old fashion telephone. I want to hear how you're doing. It's a time to share your concerns or triumphs, to troubleshoot, brain storm or just shoot the sh*t. Whatever flows we shall follow. You do not need to be a current or past client, in fact all the better to spread the word to your loved ones whom you feel will benefit from having some connected time with an experienced..., open hearted postpartum doula. Come see me over at www.serenepierce.com to complete the form on my site and we'll find the perfect time to have a tea together.

A province wide lock down here in Ontario is taking place in a few days. It means we all really get to embrace the nature of this season and cozy up at home and hibernate. I'm wishing it will pass for you all safely, with good company and with ease. I will be pausing my reflexology sessions and in person doula services until mid January. I welcome all inquiries still - we will book in as soon as we're able ... AND I will be holding more availability for Distance Reiki sessions. In the past I've reserved these for evening times but keep your eyes open as I'll be adding days and weekends. We aren't expected to know how to face all of these challenges as they arise, it's a lesson in surrender and grace and taking it one step at a time. For now I am grateful for my *almost* finished treatment room/office, my spunky kids and this winter sunshine.

Just over two years ago I met Michelle @bythemoon. I took a mini #reflexology workshop and fell head over heels (pun intended )I love the idea of our feet corresponding to every part of your body. How we carry our stories within our soles. By following a sequence and our intuition we can aid in optimal health and wellness, ease ailments and help people feel good! It fits oh so perfectly with my birth work and I'll be sure to share more on this.... I thank every one of you who eagerly hopped into my anti gravity chair and flung yourselves back in surrender. I am so grateful for your trust and enthusiasm. I've truly been in awe of the stories shared. The tears shed and the belly laughs. It's the sitting at the feet of strong women who have been through some shit and who continue to move through it that really call me to this work. I'm not *quite* there yet but I'm in that space where you see everything clicking together for one of those epic finish line crossings. Feeling strong, confident and completely in the zone. I'm in the home stretch. If you are a past reflexology client who'd like to connect again send a dm! I have limited spots left before I will be certifying and adjusting my rate accordingly.

Homebirth is a safe and amazing option for the majority of families. What are some other homebirth myths we can bust? psst- Midwives are covered by OHIP and provide stellar care up to 6 weeks postpartum. (Hello to staying cozy in bed with baby the first week while they come to you!)

I met with Pam a little while ago, and while sitting in the park, sipping a london fog on a beautiful fall day I gleaned some wonderful nuggets about how she serves our community. During these times Pam welcomes you and babe into her studio in Oro Medonte. With full support and understanding of the mother/baby dyad there is a wonderful unrushed space to dive deep into your breastfeeding relationship, receive accurate, evidence based support and explore you goals.
